What surpised me was how this obviously well aged oloroso with the classic long nutty flavour could be so well priced. It must be many years old.

Very dry sherry which is the complete opposite of Pedro Ximénez. While the PX is overwhelmingly sweet, this sherry is extremely dry. The first sip will throw you off if you are used to the PX I tried mixing the two but they don’t blend st
