La BohemeAct Four Syrah Gamay
About this product
The Yarra Valley's very own opera diva, Dame Nellie Melba, enchanted the world as Mimi in Puccini's La Boheme. This famous opera is based in the characterful Latin Quarter of Paris, which these days are full of artisan wine bars and bistros serving interesting and quirky wine from all over the world.
This cheeky blend of Syrah and Gamy is a classic wine bar style. Fragrant, brooding, autumnal and best consumed from large goblets.

Yes. Buy and drink this. A mid-weight red that s same same but also quite different. 82% syrah, 18% gamay. t s a refreshing style of red but it also has the requisite guts to suit/satisfy all-comers. It s easy to be a big fan of both this wine and of its style. It tastes of roasted nuts, cherries, meat and ripe, smooth-skinned plums, though in some ways it s characterised most by the mouthwatering wash of herb-strewn acidity. In short, it s absolutely tip-top tasty.

Minimally-oaked, spicy Shiraz melds beautifully with soft juicy Gamay to produce a utterly delicious young red. Lots of white pepper, dark cherries and undergrowth. Extra points for sheer delicousness and value.
