About this product

Made from 100% malted New Zealand Barely in the Willowbank distillery, Dunedin. This whisky has been aging in American Oak, Ex-Bourbon barrels for 25 years making New Zealand only the fifth country in history to release a 25 year old single malt whisky. This is an exceptionally rare dram from a now closed distillery.

Very smooth and flavoursome whisky - enjoyed with friends on granite freezer cubes. Unexpected but good.

When I was a bit my Grandfather and Dad enjoyed Wilson's Whiskey from the Dunedin Distillery. Now at the age of 50. I have gifted a 25yr old bottle to my dad at 74yrs to again enjoy the Whiskey of his past. I also needed a 2nd for myself.
