Carefully balanced bubbles at a bargain price, capturing citrus zest and wild honey, finishing crisp, dry and refreshing, with a finely mineral note. An appealing quaffer from cool climate Victoria pinot noir and chardonnay.

Mid-yellow colour, with a slightly musty, earthy bouquet evidently reflecting some cork effect, and the palate is noticeably sweet. It's certainly sweeter than the concurrent 2015 vintage Yarra Burn. A very commercial glass of fizz. Second bottle was fresher on the nose.
