Dry, Full Bodied style of ShirazOne of the great Grange's, this wine will make drinkers go weak at the knees up to 2040. Deep purple in colour, with very elemental blackberry, raspberry and quince paste aroma's and sweet oak. A very rich and concentrated, the wine is still rather tight, with deep musky blackberry & dark chocolate soaked fruit flavours, savoury oak & smooth tannins. The magnum is a rarity.

Good colour. Liqueur cherry, plum aniseed nose, classic '01 characters. Big and rich, superripe and sweet/rich kirsch flavoured. A bit too sweet and almost confected. Borderline porty. Not classic Grange.
