Two parts, one great cocktail. Yep, we’re keeping things simple this Christmas.

You can’t make a cocktail with one ingredient. A glass of whisky? Guys, that’s just a glass of whisky – it doesn’t matter what you call it. Two ingredients, on the other hand, is a cocktail. And it doesn’t get much better than that.

There are all sorts of reasons why you’d want a two-ingredient cocktail in your life. For starters, they’re almost always dead simple – it’s just mixing two ingredients, after all. That makes these streamlined cocktails budget-friendly since you won’t need a bartender’s backbar full of fancy spirits and liqueurs to make them. Simplicity usually means they’re time-savers, too, because you’ll often just need to measure, pour and mix, which is a big tick, especially if you’re catering for friends and family over the holiday season.

Mainly, though, we just love two-ingredient cocktails because they taste bloody good. So, with that in mind, let’s find out how to make a few of the best.
