Much more generous and appealing than Bin 407 at first acquaintance; luscious blackcurrant fruit, and seamless oak and tannins; great mouthfeel.

Bright purple colour, very deep. Concentrated cassis aromas; clean and berryish, more fruit-driven than usual. Oak takes a back seat. Chocolate palate; mocha; dense and mouth-coating, very thick and reduced (like simmered stock) but retains some balance, elegance and fruit-drive. Essence of winegrapes! Best in 3 to 22 years.
