This is a soft, supple and richly fruited style with generous aromas and flavors of blackberries and spiced blueberries. The palate is very approachable, softly structured and fleshy with ripe-blackberry flavors throughout. Just 1% viognier in the mix here. Drink or hold

The colour is deep red with tints of purple and there are plummy, gently herbal, earthy, fruit-driven aromas with a hint of graphite. It’s medium-bodied, supple and very approachable now. The lingering savoury aftertaste has lovely balance. I like the earthiness, minerality if you like, of this archetypal Barossa shiraz.
