Vintage 2005
95 points The Real Review
Pale salmon to onion-skin colour; a lovely smoky and toasty mellow bouquet, with sweet touches of spiced honey. The palate is very good, but just a shade sweet and ever so slightly mawkish on the finish, with a little thickness. Quince paste, nettles, dried herbs, plus hints of celery and parsnip. (50% chardonnay, 45% pinot noir, 5% meunier)
