Deep red/purple colour. Toasty oak dominates the bouquet, and the wine has richness and grip, with slightly disjointed flow, and a chewy tannin finish which is not unbalanced. Alcohol exaggerates the tannins on the finish. It has guts and grip, and is bright, fresh and full of potential.
