d'ArenbergFootbolt Shiraz 2010
About this product
d'Arenberg The Footbolt Shiraz is a firm favourite with many McLaren Vale Shiraz lovers and for good reason. This is another great example of the rich, full-bodied style with aromas of ripe blackberry and spice that mingle with minty peppery notes. The palate is full-flavoured, supple in texture with a velvety finish.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

Vintage 2010

Deep purple/red; excellent colour. Subdued but attractive, toasted nut and roast meats aromas. Some alcohol and oaky fuminess. Fleshy density in the mouth with abundant tannin and a little astringency. A big wine - the alcohol and tannin and acid are a little unresolved as yet, and the structure will enable it to deal with hearty meat dishes.
