The most refined V&A Lane release to date melds these two varieties in seamless coherence. Consummate poise and balance leave sufficient airspace for every detail to unfold with subtle fragrance and elegant texture.

A blend of co-fermented cabernet sauvignon (76%) and shiraz (24%) matured for 15 months in new and used French oak barriques and hogsheads. It shares the bright, deep colour of all the ''10 releases, the bouquet with a classic mix of plum and cassis. The medium to full-bodied palate follows suit, with a seamless array of serious black fruits encompassing the blackcurrant of the cabernet, and the spicy blackberry of the shiraz on a foundation of impressive, but perfectly balanced and integrated, tannins.
