Dark and broody, a little beefy, with violet and bay leaf perfume, mocha and black olive. It has all the grunt and power of the vintage with its wall of flavour, spread of firm ripe tannin and long marzipan accented finish. To give you an idea of style, I’d suggest it’s like a better, more refined version of the 2004 vintage. It’s going to cellar for a very long time too.
