Medium deep colour. Lovely dark berry/dark chocolate/vanilla/cedar/paneforte aromas. Seductive, almost plush, blueberry/blackberry/plum/malty flavours, rich ripe plentiful tannins, underlying cedar notes. Finishes chalky firm, but long and sweet. A very impressively structured wine with fantastic potential for longevity.

There is a restraint here that harks back to the classic vintages of?Bin?28, with a focus on firm structure and fine tannins. Restrained oak presence supports and propels its primary, dark berry fruits. Fruit balance, tannin presence, acid integration and flavour persistence all point to a long life. Blended from Padthaway, Barossa Valley, Langhorne Creek, McLaren Vale and Robe and matured for twelve months in used American oak hogsheads.
