Gee, this is good. Very closed, with the Shiraz variety is taking a HUGE back seat to place here. A gloriously medium weighted depiction of V&A Lane, proving why these parcels demand to have their own bottling. Hints of spice, clearly defined dark and red fruits with dry earth. It's so fantastic, yet so devoid of the desire to scream and shout. No big noting. But leaving the greatest impression of all those in the room.

VA Lane bisects the southern and northern half of the terra rossa, the initials (what else) standing for Victoria and Albert, the wine sourced from Wynns'' vineyards along either side of the lane. While richness is said to be a hallmark of this wine, it is notable for elegance, restraint and balance.
