Unexpectedly rich and layered, with mouthfilling red and blue fruits suspended in a fine network of ripe, rounded tannins Frustrating not knowing its price.

Medium to deep red colour with a tinge of purple, on the light side for shiraz. The bouquet is simple and fruit-driven, possibly unwooded, with a muddy plum-skin aroma reminiscent of Riverland shiraz. The palate is good at the price: the flavour is soft, ripe, balanced and appealing, with good ready drinkabilty. Very good value.
