Vintage 2018
93 points The Real Review
Deep-ish ruby with a touch of purple in the rim and a complex and slightly funky bouquet that incorporates sulfides, humus, smoked charcuterie and assorted spices. The wine is fleshy and supple in the mouth, with gentle powdery tannins and an initial thread of bitterness that fades with repeated sips—as does the sulfide aroma. Definite whole-bunch influence. Silky mouth-feel. It's already drinking really well.

This is just so delicious from the onset. Blackberry, blueberry
compote, and some pepper-crusted meats. Non-slip, grippy tannins, integrated and secure. There’s dried pine and unobtrusive flickers of graphite; it’s classically composed and agile, a waltz. Steeped strawberries and ripe mulberry engage and enliven the mid-palate. The poise, length and line are all admirable here and are true cornerstones of an exceptionally made wine.
