This unique Pilsner is brewed using premium malt and locally grown chestnuts from the hills of Beechworth and Stanley. Its light hop characters are derived from the locally frown hop variety, Galaxy. The Chestnut Pilsner has a light flavour profile and distinct nutty notes form the use of chestnuts in the mash.

I am a Pilsner fan. So when I saw this in the discount trolley as it was nearing its best before date I snapped it up. I wasn't disappointed. Clean, crisp and easy drinking not over powered with hops while still giving a nice hoppy flavou
