Vintage 2018
95 points The Real Review
Deep red colour with a strong purple tint; dark chocolate, cedary oak and background clovey spice, peppery notes come up when you work the glass. The wine is medium full bodied and fairly firm in tannins, there's a core of sweet fruit enveioped by plentiful tannins and the finish is long. Slightly gritty tannins. A very smart shiraz nonetheless.

The Yarra Yering Underhill unfolds with an elegant frame, offering a bouquet of boysenberry and dark cherry intertwined with sophisticated notes of graphite. Silky tannins and an autumnal edge create a seamless, ethereal texture that settles on the palate like velvet. Graceful and complete, it is a seductive vintage that captivates from the first scent to the final, lingering finish.
