Deep, dark red colour with a tint of purple, the bouquet plummy, herbal, with a sappy, almost seaweedy note. The palate is soft and medium-weighted, the tannins gentle and subtly earthy, the length medium and gently tapered.

Bin D680. A flush of musky, resiny, creamy oak marks this as ambitious from the start. The fruit beneath has both a fleshiness and a friskiness, its bright plum and red licorice flavours freshened further by a splash of mint. Hard to argue with its quality.
