“Dusty, leathery, rose and licorice flavours with infusions of bay leaf and vanilla cream. Soft and supple but firm with tannin. Well balanced in general; it’s ready to drink now.”

“Medium red/brick-red colour showing development, not unexpected in a wine of its age, with a cigar tobacco, coffee/mocha and toasty developed bouquet. Some violet notes and a hint of cigarbox. The palate is elegant, medium to full-bodied with slightly elevated acidity. A rather edgy, almost Italianate wine that begs for food. Indeed, it's a very good food wine and an unusual but meritorious style for the region.”
