PenfoldsRWT Barossa Valley Shiraz 2009
About this product
Penfolds RWT was first vintaged in 1997 after several years of 'Red Winemaking Trials'. While RWT is a relative new-comer, it adds great diversity to the Penfolds stable of iconic red wines. Sourced from vineyards on the western edge of the Barossa Valley, namely from Kalimna, Moppa and Ebenezer and matured in 100% French Oak, RWT epitomises contemporary Barossa Shiraz. The fruit from the evocative 2009 vintage is wonderfully rich and seductive and will reward careful cellaring for well over the 10 plus years. Please note: Limit of 6 bottles per customer.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
