Rustica Barossa Valley Mataro

A perfumed bouquet bursting with an abundance flavours - bouncing between earthy leather, plum, musk and all spice. The palate is vibrant, youthful and generously plump. This wine is so approachable and will become a favourite to anyone who tries it. The depth it offers while remaining soft, supple and round is truly amazing - it has an element of complexity with intriguing flavours all complementing each other. The predominant characters are earth, leather, dark chocolate, cinnamon spice and ripe satsuma plum. The tannins are structural and present, but do not interfere with the supple round mouthfeel and allow long flavoursome finish. This Mataro pairs well with meaty sausages, chorizo and char-grilled portabello mushrooms or pizza.
