Too many offers, too little time. Lucky you’ve got a list of the best drinks to add to your cart right now.

In good news, the sun is shining and picnic season is officially upon us once more. In fact, we think September might be the most underrated month of all to get out and about, with the odd southerly to keep us from overheating and just the right amount of sunshine to constitute t-shirt season. And, if you’re that way inclined, it also means footy finals are here once again. So, what better time to catch up with mates with some quality new drinks in tow?

Thankfully, we’re back with the latest entry in our series where we canvass our Editor-in-Chief Lara for her picks of the very best drinks deals that My Dan’s members can score right now, simply by virtue of being a free member. This month, we have everything from adventurous wines to certified classic rums and tropical cider remixes. Here, then, are nine of the hottest My Dan’s deals you need to get around this month, with these offers running until 27 September.

Chalmers Fiano

1. Chalmers Heathcote Fiano

Italian wine varietals are making an impact on the Aussie drinking scene, where full-bodied chardonnays and crisp sauv blancs were once the preferred choices. And we’re pleased to say they’re turning heads – as they should. From one of the pioneers of fiano in Australia, the Chalmers Fiano is woody and textural, wild fermented and vegan friendly. There’s just the right balance of acidity and floral citrus to go perfectly with a warmer day. This is top-tier stuff, and definitely one to grab while it’s on member offer.

Non-member price: $35.99
Member price: $32

2. Kuro Kabuto Turtle Red Junmai Daiginjo

You should absolutely always have a good sake in your bar cart, and as far as affordable investment-quality sakes go, Kuro Kabuto Turtle Red is a fantastic place to start. A Junmai Daiginjo, which basically means the highest grade of sake going, this is a far cry from the stuff you tried once at a sushi train; think bright acidity, a touch of umami, notes of berry sweetness and that clean finish that all good sakes should have in their back pocket. Produced with rare black koji, there’s a rich and juicy texture we adore. Nab this at an exclusive price and drink it chilled, with pride.

3. Ambra Limoncello

We’re calling it – it’s the summer of limoncello. Use it as a digestif, make a Limoncello Spritz, or share it about for the toast at a summer party – when it comes to limoncello, the possibilities are endless. Ambra Limoncello is one of the best at its price, using a family recipe (every lemon is peeled by hand) to hit that authentic tart flavour that instantly evokes sunlit Italian lemon groves. Little did you know, it’s made by Italians right here in Australia, with locally sourced Riverland lemons (and no preservatives or artificial colours).

4. Good Tides Mango Hard Seltzer

When it comes to the wide and varied world of hard seltzers, Good Tides is  making some of the most popular and approachable libations around. Their one-size-fits-all Good Times Mango Seltzer is the perfect place to start for a chilled session with mates, perfectly balancing sweetness and acidity with a clean finish lent by the use of triple-distilled Vodka O as its base spirit.

5. Starward Bottled New Old Fashioned

The Old Fashioned instantly conjures up pictures of smoky jazz lounges and ASMR-laden TikTok recipe videos, but Melbourne-based whisky maker Starward thinks it should be a whole lot more fun (and simple) than that. This is why they’ve come up with their Bottled New Old Fashioned, a twist on the classic whisky cocktail to stash in your fridge, made using the distillery’s whiskey and bitters, along with wattleseed-infused demerara syrup for an aromatic hit. It’s certifiably delicious, and for one night of cocktails, it’s far cheaper (and easier) than buying each ingredient separately – especially at this price.

Non-member price: $54.99

6. The Hills Tropical Sour Cider

A far cry from the sickly-sweet ciders you’re probably all too used to drinking, The Hills’ latest limited release is a cider on steroids, shot up with a huge whack of tropical Queensland mangoes and pineapples that are actually fermented along with the apples. No added sugar makes for a far funkier cider that, as the name suggests, hovers somewhere between a sour and a cider. At 2.4 standard drinks per can, the Hills Tropical Sour Cider is not to be trifled with.

Non-member price: $21.49 (4-pack)

Monsuta Okinawa Premium Draft

7. Monsuta Okinawa Premium Draft

Japanese lagers are a guaranteed people-pleaser and Okinawa-based brewery Monsuta is making one of the cleanest beers around (with, in our opinion, one of the coolest can designs as well). Monsuta Okinawa Premium Draft sticks to the formula you’d expect from a beer designed to be drunk with Okinawa’s more tropical take on the Japanese lifestyle. Delicate hops and plenty of malty goodness go toe-to-toe with the nation’s rich food.

Non-member price: $65.99 (24-pack)

8. Fleet Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris

The copper-pink colour of this pinot gris comes thanks to some carefully planned winemaking from one of our favourite Victorian producers. Fermented alongside some of the grape skins, Fleet’s Mornington Peninsula Pinot Gris has a little added character – a wonderful peachy richness balanced by herby, floral notes, crunchy acidity and texture. Pair this with a loaded board of cheeses and you’re sorted.

9. Ron Millonario Solera 15 Reserva Especial Rum

Rum connoisseurs around the world have expended millions of words waxing lyrical about the Ron Millonario Solera 15 over the years, and its status as a cult classic within the rum community qualifies it as the one for you if you’re wanting to add a genuine ‘sipping’ rum to your bar cart. Aged for 15 years in American and Slavonian oak casks, this is a dark, unctuous rum matured using the solera method to ensure the richest final product possible, replete with notes of candied fruit, toffee and spice.

Non-member price: $83.99
Member price: $74
