Deep, dark, red/purple colour; excellent appearance. The bouquet holds profound ripe cabernet blackberry and cedar fruit character embellished by stylish oak which is quite strongly evident, but not overdone. It's a full-bodied, intense, powerful, bright and also complex wine with tremendous density, flesh and tannin structure for long-keeping. A superb cabernet; most impressive. Long term.

An imposing statement of Margaret River cabernet sauvignon from this outstanding season. Opens with a classic wave of Margs blackcurrant and black olive fruit with a lifted overlay of mintiness. The palate is deeply intense and supported by ripe, precise tannins. Plenty of oak has been ladled into but the balance has been struck perfectly. Built for extended cellaring.
