The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon has an impenetrable blackness with a bright cherry red edge of colour. This is followed with aroma’s of dark chocolate, black fruits, pine needles, spiced meats and hints of dustiness. Once in your mouth you will be spoilt with a true and classic Barossa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with flavours of dark sweet fruit and bitter chocolate with balanced acid and tannic grip. A truely powerful wine.

It can be a tricky juggling act to present Cabernet's varietal signature within the full-bodied mood of the Barossa. This is a case in point for the potential when it's done right. As impressive as its dense cassis and blackcurrant are, bathed generously in dark chocolate French oak, it's ultimately crunchy Cabernet acidity that defines poise and potential. Impressive stuff.
