95 points Australian Wine Companion
A 50/50% blend made with a combination of wild and cultured yeast, matured in barrel (25% new) for 18 months, cross-flow filtered. Bright crimson-purple, it fully reflects the cool vintage, and while the alcohol is lowish, the flavours of the medium-bodied palate are fully ripe and juicy, the finish long and balanced.

Medium to full, bright red/purple colour. The bouquet is clean fresh and red-fruited, with floral and violet highlights and an appealing lick of spice. The wine is medium-bodied, elegant, almost lean - lacking a little in flesh and richness perhaps but quite fine and understated. Good balance and completeness. It's bright and tangy, crisp and appetising.
