Deep colour with a slight brick tinge in the rim. The bouquet is toasty, nutty, savoury and shows some oak as well as development. The wine seems quite forward-developed and mellow, although the tannins remain drying and very savoury, with powdery texture and after-grip. Good wine, becoming quite complex. It's keen value.

Bright crimson-purple; the wine has abundant texture and structure underwriting the blend of blackcurrant, plum and blackberry fruits. The tannins are rounded, and the oak soft, but are still in the process of integrating with the fruit.
