Hand-picked, crushed and destemmed, a mix of open and closed fermenters with the inclusion of 5% viognier, matured for 15 months in French oak (25% new). The bouquet is an early warning sign of the impact the French oak has on the wine and its faintly sweet finish. That said, the glass is definitely half full, and the wine is well priced.

A fragrant Central Victorian shiraz with cranberry and cherry aromas. The palate is beautifully supple and medium-bodied with gentle spice and perfectly integrated oak. It is a pleasing wine of composure and restraint
