Enjoy with pastas, stews, red meats, and cheese.
Tasting notes:Deep purple-red. Its aroma is reminiscent of red berries, dark fruit and spices as well. Fruity and complex on the palate, with round tannins. Persistent finish. An elegant and complex wine.
Aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. Then, it is aged in bottles for 6 months.
About the winery:
Owned by François Boursaud (Chateau Le Gay, Pomerol, France), the winery is situated at the foot of the Andes Mountains in the heart of the Uco Valley, one of the main viniculture regions in Argentina. The property comprises 130 hectares (321 acres) at an altitude between 1,000 and 1,200 meters above sea level.
The land slopes towards the north and east, giving it the best exposure to sunlight in the southern hemisphere.
