Wild Olive

McLaren Vale Organic Shiraz 2021

The grapes for this wine were hand picked from our Warboys Organic Vineyard and a long term grower. Warboys provides the powerful base for the wine with the growers fruit contributing elegance and finesse. It was hand crafted in the Angove small batch winery and matured for 12 months in seasoned French oak prior to bottling. Intense brooding purple in colour with aromas of blackberry and satsuma plum followed by peppery spice. On the palate there are flavours of cherry, blackberry, liquorice and clove with deft oak and a hint of pepper. A perfect match to French inspired food such as organic Beef Bourguignon.
