Ink black at the core into a deep ruby rim. Mulberry, mocha, and sawdust aromas. Rich and weighty with plum preserve fruits competing for attention with sweet oak spices. Tannins are supple and carry reasonable length, but a warmth lingers at the finish.

Richly sumptuous and enticing with dark fruit intensity, vanillin oak, cinnamon and rich floral characters, it's wonderfully weighted in the mouth displaying excellent depth and plush mouthfeel. Layers of fine polished tannins offer structure and frame to this delectably appealing shiraz. At its best: now to 2040.
