Zonte's FootstepLake Doctor Shiraz Langhorne Creek 2018
About this product
Drink with anything off the grill (preferably charcoal that is), and especially a second glass. Not just about the fruit, it’s earthy too and what we have always loved about Langhorne Creek is they produce cracker wines – consistently!
The result is a fabulously stylish Shiraz, one which offers Five Spice, juicy Plum Pudding flavour with rolling soft, fine-grained Cedar tannin.

"It is delightfully fruited and inviting on the nose showing dark plum, mixed berry compote, olive, mixed spice and floral characters. The palate is equally satisfying with excellent weight and rounded mouthfeel, well supported by supple texture and polished tannins. The wine shows lovely fruit purity together with elegant complexity, finishing long and graceful. At its best: now to 2025." - March 2019

Dark chocolate and herbal, slightly vegetable-like aromas. There is a sawn-timber oaky note. The wine is medium to full-bodied and rich, chewy and soft, with some savoury forward-development. It's quite fleshy and has plenty of extract. A lot of red wine for your money here.
