The vineyard is farmed sustainably & the gamay & mondeuse vines are over 50 years old . The 2018 Gamay is a restrained savoury wine with vivid aromas and earthy tones with red fruits, hints of fresh cut violets and pomegranate, It has a moderate acidity and structural tannins

Gamay and Savoie? Can do. Very light and transparent, gossamer texture, crisp acidity, barely there cherry flavours, cranberry tang and powdery tannins that pucker to finish. Some succulence here, the wine builds as it opens, but it will never be more than feathery and flighty, and lovely in that way. Pleasing, pleasant, delicate drink. Rated : 93 Points
