The source of good liquor is water. Wonju is surrounded by large mountains, providing pristine water that doesn't dry out even during droughts. The basis for tasty liquor is rice, and in Wonju, we use a type called 'Totomi' that is cultivated in pristine water. Chiak Mountain, with its cool temperatures, is suitable for long-term fermentation and aging at low temperatures. With the expertise of our distillery master, our liquor, 'Mowall', is created after going through a lengthy period of low-temperature fermentation and aging.
Mowall is a Korean liquor made only with rice, Nooruk (Korean yeast), and water. It contains no additives.
