Jean-Philippe FichetMonthelie 2011
About this product
Fichet pours most of his effort into the vineyards, bringing in the best fruit possible and then carrying it as gently as possible through the winemaking process, using only minimal new oak. Monthelie is a small village in a valley behind Meursault and Volnay. This has a touch of bacon fat on the nose, lovely weight and freshness on the palate and some charming floral qualities. A delicious wine suitable for drinking quite young.
