Secret de Famille

Secret de Famille refers to the winemaking secrets passed down through the six generations of Jaboulet cellarmasters. This cuvee is organically grown, demonstrating this house's generations-long commitment to the environment and sustainability. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre, Marselan and Carignan, grown on the right bank of the Rhone from soils covered with the round pebble stones so characteristic of the region. The Syrah component is vinified on its own, while the other four varieties are fermented together for better colour intensity and tannin integration. Deep garnet red with rich, expressive aromas of ripe strawberries and raspberries, supported by floral and spicy notes. Fresh, rich and balanced on the palate, with excellent balance and supple velvety tannins supported by subtle oak.
