The colour is medium to full red colour with a faint tint of purple. The bouquet is sweetly perfumed with dark, fully-ripe cherry and almost blackberry aromas, plus a touch of spices. The wine is concentrated and powerful, the tannins are emphatic and rich but not at all astringent or bitter. The aftertaste lingers on and on. Impressive wine. This will age well.
