As ever, seems to have a strand of sauvignon blanc DNA in its make-up, and certainly shows the acid retention ability of colombard to full effect, grown as it is on the hot Adelaide Plains. The intensity of the fruit flavours and that zest on the finish are remarkable, very different to the pinot grigio anodyne.?
