Deep, dark red colour, purple rim. Big soy-like nose, super-ripe with some sweeter black fruit aromas coming through the developed complexity. Soft, fleshy, smooth palate. Lovely fine-grained tannins, still savoury and dry with some oaky touches. Very long: quite impressive, but possibly a touch overripe. Lacks the finesse and brightness of fruit of most vintages. Not sure it will age as well as most.

Tightly focused and structured; particularly fine but persistent tannins add much to the texture; blackcurrant and touches of French oak complete the picture of a high quality wine. Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz. High quality cork.
