Pure red cherry and Asian allspice are delivered on the bouquet; almost essency in its purity, with super fine-grained tannins aplenty, tightly wound fruit and crunchy acidity providing a linear, yet generous, experience from start to finish.

Medium to deep red colour, strong purple tints. Peppery and herbal aromas, leather and earth savouriness too. Sweetly lush and smooth, fruity, taut and narrow focused. Rich and sweet fruited, then a wash of fine papery tannins to dry the firm, tight finish. Fresh and youthful, big and bold: a wine that promises more if cellared - although very good now.
