About this product

Simply named after their Coldstream address, 864 showcases Oakridge's highly detailed micro-selections from the most exceptional single vineyard sites in the Yarra Valley. David Bicknell leads the team that has access to the exceptional Funder & Diamond Vineyard which is a north facing block at 230 meters above sea level. The vineyard was close planted in the red volcanic soil of Wandin East in 1985 using the P58 clone. The result is a truly remarkable new world example that epitomises the rise of micro-terroir Chardonnay in Australia. Always quick to disappear from our shelves, David's 864s are wines of true beauty and prestige.

Good wine but not worth $67

It was a good wine but for $67 a bottle, not good value. The are chardonnays you can get for less than $30 that are as good if not better.
