Wirra WirraChurch Block Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Merlot 2007
About this product
The original Church Block vineyard ran alongside the small Bethany Church across the road from Wirra Wirra's old ironstone cellars and first caught the eye of Greg Trott. Since then, Church Block has gone on to become on of Australia's most loved red wines and a mainstay in many cellars. The 2007 Church Block is from a vintage in McLaren Vale that was still suffering through drought which has resulted in a supremely concentrated wine style. With extended resting in our climate controlled cellars, the wine has settled down marvellously and is in supreme condition to enjoy today.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.

A very tight example of this classic Australian blend; lots of black fruits, spice and plenty of structure; lots on offer.
