Light straw-yellow colour. The bouquet shows malt and almond meal nuances, the palate lean and tangy, crisp and high-acid, with reserve and tension aplenty. Oak is clearly evident. There is tightness and refinement, but it also lacks a little generosity and come-hither appeal. Maybe next year it will be drinking better: it seems a bit closed and needing time. Still, it's very good in a tight, pared-back style.
