Red fruits and cherry, stalky, sappy wine with a minty edge. Medium weight, almost light, but plenty of backbone here and good line and length. Has some old school mulchy flavours along with spice and aniseed. Tangy firm acid on the finish, somewhat sour, but tasty. Fascinating wine, if not somewhat uncompromising. Kept me coming back for more. Should age pretty well I’d imagine. Â
