…offering rounds of spice and fresh ripe plum, dried herbs and boysenberry. Tannin creeps up on you; though it always feels tight. Oak is coffeed but mostly unobtrusive.

Deep red/purple with a black tinge and a black olive, super-ripe, almost overripe, fruit note. Stylish smoky oak too. Has some eerily grand cru-like attributes. Amazing wine. The palate is intense and deep, full-bodied and firm with excellent persistence and satisfying flavour. A big and impressive wine. Rather oaky now but just a pup, and has the legs to live for many years. But it is certainly overripe and pruney.
