2007 was a tough vintage, but the mature vineyards of Hanlin Hill still produced a very balanced wine. Citrus with some floral hints in the background and as always the crisp dry acid on the finish. Now with some medium-term cellaring behind it, that racing acidity has dropped a touch to reveal the textural beauty that lies in waiting.

Full yellow; golden reflections, looks forward developed. Dusty lemon-round aroma, Full and rich in mouth; deep and generously flavoured, seems more attacking with more alcohol and slightly shrill acid. Not for the long haul.
