Deep, dark brick-red colour with black tints and a dark, inky nose of black fruits, black olives and tar. A full-bodied wine with weight and presence, the only hiccup is slightly overdone acidity. Good, but lacks the detail of the finest vintages. Fruit emerged more as it breathed. A pretty tidy wine.
