Vintage 2005
90 points The Wine Front
Aromas of blackcurrant, squashed berries, gumleaf, tobacco and light choc-vanilla oak. On the palate full bodied with blackcurrant, berry, tobacco and toasty mocha oak flavours. Very ripe but retains freshness and drinkability. Firm grainy tannins persistent tannins and a savoury blackcurranty finish of good length. Still one of Australia's great wine bargains.
