Château Léoville-Las-CasesSaint-Julien 2002
About this product
Originally part of the much larger Leoville Estate, and then Chateau Leoville Las Cases, Leoville Poyferre was seperated again 1840. 2002 produced a wine of tight structure and firm, but balanced tannin. Subtle earthy flavours and hints of cedar. Definately a wine that will benefit from a few extra years in the cellar.

Full bodied red wines have a noticeably textural mouthfeel with bold, complex flavours. Often deeply coloured.
Dry wines have no trace of sweetness at all.
